Return & Refund Policy

At The North Shore Luxury Closet, every piece is carefully selected, inspected, and described with transparency. We want you to feel confident shopping pre-owned luxury with us and understand that sometimes a piece may not be the perfect fit once you see it in person.

Returns

We accept eligible returns under the following conditions:

• The item must be shipped back to us within 7 days of the original delivery date.
• Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
• Items must be returned in the exact condition in which they were received, unworn and unused, with all original packaging, tags, and The North Shore Luxury Closet security/authenticity tags attached and completely intact.
• Items returned with removed, altered, damaged, or tampered security tags will not be accepted.
• The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as the customer is responsible for the item until it is received by us.
• Original shipping charges, if applicable, are non-refundable.
• Returns that do not meet the above requirements may be refused and returned to the customer.
• You must contact us to request a return within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, an eligible refund will be issued to the original form of payment, less the 20% restocking fee and any non-refundable shipping charges.

Exchanges & Store Credit

Prefer something else? Eligible purchases may be exchanged for another item or returned for store credit, subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Exchange or store-credit requests must also be made within 48 hours of confirmed delivery, and the item must be shipped back within 7 days of the original delivery date.

All original-condition, packaging, security-tag, and return-shipping requirements listed above apply.

Store credit is issued after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Flash Sale & Final Sale Items

Items purchased as part of a 24-Hour Flash Sale or other specially marked promotional sale are subject to a modified return policy due to their limited-time discounted pricing.

Eligible Flash Sale and Special Sale items may be returned subject to a 30% restocking fee or exchanged/returned for store credit subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Return or exchange requests must be made within 48 hours of confirmed delivery, and approved items must be shipped back within 7 days of the original delivery date.

Items must be returned in the exact condition in which they were received, unworn and unused, with all original packaging and The North Shore Luxury Closet security tags attached and completely intact. Items with removed, altered, damaged, or tampered security tags will not be accepted.

Order Concerns & Undisclosed Condition Issues

Every item is carefully inspected prior to shipment. As part of our quality-control process, The North Shore Luxury Closet photographs and/or videos each item prior to packaging and shipment to document its condition at the time it leaves our possession.

If your item arrives with a material condition issue that was not disclosed in the listing, please contact us within 48 hours of confirmed delivery with your order number, a description of the concern, and clear photographs.

We will review the concern individually. If we determine that a material flaw was inadvertently omitted from the listing, the standard restocking fee will not apply to an approved return related to that issue.

Authenticity

Authenticity is at the heart of our business. Every luxury item sold by The North Shore Luxury Closet is carefully sourced and evaluated for authenticity. Additional third-party authentication documentation may also be available for select pieces.

Before You Purchase

Pre-owned and vintage luxury pieces may show signs of previous wear consistent with their age and history. We make every effort to photograph and disclose notable condition details so you know exactly what to expect.

Please carefully review all photographs, descriptions, measurements, condition information, and available videos before completing your purchase. If you'd like a closer look, we're happy to provide additional photos, close-ups, measurements, or a detailed video before you order.
